“The Training Program that Peer Support Services provides allows communities of all sizes to comply with the recommendations articulated by the President’s Task Force On Twenty First Century Policing. More specifically this allows us to comply with Pillar six of that document which is Officer Wellness and Safety. “

“I would like to thank you and Tom Famolare for your work with our pre-incident critical support training and subsequent consultation. The training was well organized and well received by all personnel. As we have discussed, critical incident and peer support guidance services for police agencies are needed more than ever. Your program has helped bridge the gap in training for our personnel and your efforts to make our organization healthier and better prepared for future events are greatly appreciated. I commend you both for your leadership in this area and accessibility to our officers. Thank you.”
Chief Christopher Delmonte Bridgewater PD
"Our team put together a two day conference in May 2014 at the Ontario Police College (Canada) on critical incident stress management and the importance of peer support for police and first responders at major incidents. In my search for speakers, Sgt. Brian Fleming's name popped up when looking for information on the role of peer support at the Boston Marathon bombing. Brian quickly responded to my e-mail and made an incredibly strong first impression. It was very clear that Brian was, first and foremost, very passionate about the topic, and second, eminently qualified to speak about Boston PD's response to the bombing incident. Travel arrangements were easy to make and Brian was very accommodating. Brian's 90 minute presentation ended up being one of two keynotes for the conference, and in terms of content and presentation style, was easily heads and shoulders above all other presentations. Brian's knowledge and expertise is obvious right out of the gate. But combined with an easygoing, sometimes humorous and incredibly engaging presentation style, he absolutely hit it out of the park for our 200+ attendees. His excellent PowerPoint was tailored to our audience and was used not as a crutch, but as a fitting complement to his outstanding presentation. Brian fortunately left some time for questions at the end, and his answers were startlingly honest and constructive. He was also happy to engage in informal discussions with the delegates both before and after the presentation. The official and informal feedback we received from attendees was overwhelmingly positive, and he was clearly the highlight of our conference. Delegates especially appreciated hearing candid insights about Brian's own personal and professional challenges. I would STRONGLY recommend Brian for any professional organization looking for a quality presentation or consultant work on the issues of CISM, PTSD and peer support. "
